The Real Deal - or: How to keep Your Hair Forever !

Hi Folks,

"There are no Free Meals". I was sure you already know this. Apparently not all of you do acknowledge so. Some of you believe that they can have a deal which is actually too good to be true.

Let me tell you a true story.

Some time ago a client of us called and said he has to cancel his appointment. I asked him for the reason and he told me about a “deal” he found over the Internet.

He said that he is really like us, his results OK etc., but “I don’t believe you could match this price. Than he told me about the site and the same “Deal” you just mentioned with the Soprano Xl…..

I explained to Nino, the guy, that knowing the costs and the industry inside out (after 25 years’ experience ) I can prove to him that actually he is getting free laser treatments. May be you don’t know but the deals organizer (the deals website ) gets half of the price which means that the clinic gets 150 sessions for 6 sessions. The clinic perform, theoretically, a full legs session for $25 before tax. A professional laser technician gets 20-22 dollars per hour. Full legs takes about an hour what leaves the clinic with $3-5 after paying the technician. I don’t know if you know but there are many expenses on top of the technician salary like pulses. Every pules the Soprano Xl cost a few cents. By the end you can say that the cost of the pulses, if done properly, can reach a few dozens of dollars…..I am not mentioning many other costs like the electricity (this machine like a lot of it), insurance, repairs, insurance.….and many more ( see my post at our forum: The real cost of laser hair removal ).

The conclusion: The cost of the package you get is far more than the price you pay.

That means one of two:

-Someone has really good heart and love you so much that he is willing to give you such a nice present.

-someone is cheating you and sell you fake product. That means not done by the protocol.


I don’t want to get into it but there are ways to do lousy job with a good machine. The fact that the treatment is done by this machine doesn’t assure that it is done properly.


The risk of not doing the procedure not properly is simple: the treated hair might be in a condition that it will not react to the laser in the future. That means taking the risk
Of staying with the hair forever. Unfortunately, we have seen this happened again and again to clients of us who were treated in the wrong way….

Despite my recommendation not to try this “deal”, Nino went there and took his chance. , thinking that he has not much to lose but a small sum of money.

A week ago we got a call from Nino, begging from us to accept him back….he claimed that the whole session lasted just a fraction of the time he used to have before and he even didn’t feel anything….

This is a good indicator for unprofessional treatment done not by the protocol.

Time means energy and short time means small amount of energy getting into the follicle of your hair. If not enough energy is going there the follicle will not be destroyed and the result is bad for the future: Thin hairs with low amount of pigments in it.....knowing the fact that the laser will react better to a thick dark hair, we are preventing good reduction in the future, even if done properly.

The risk is even higher when treating the face area. There the result of not sufficient energy can cause an excessive growth of hair. No one will tell you that !

I told you this story so you could be aware to the danger.

Please do yourself a favor: be smart. at least smarter than the other.
