Hi Folks,
Most pepole think that the using particular laser machine is guarentee for results...well, not nessecerrily... Good example for it is the Soprano laser system. This is an excelent system to do laser with but, and its a significant "BUT", it is also very easy to fall in the trap. This system can do excelent job if you operate it by the protocol. There is a great risk coming with that machine as well - it is very easy to "round corners" and |NOT working by the protocol, because it is an IN-MOTION system, that means you glide the handpiece over the skin while it is shooting 10 pulses per second. You have to get enough energy into the follicles in order to destroy it. In order to do it you must pass the handpiece a minimum amount of time (passes in a certain speed) or else, instead of destroying the hair, it will be thinner with less pigment, therefore almost impossible to destroy by laser in the future. It is not coincidence that many clinics who offer cheap "deals" do their abusive behaviour with this system because it can be worked really fast, sometime too fast. If you remember that Time = Money, you should suspect, at least, that this might happen to you... Be aware. Odi |
