Smart Lipo Vs. Zerona

It is frequent that we see the terms "lipo laser" or "smart lipo". Most people do not understand the difference between those ways of treatment and the Zerona way.

It is important to understand that these terms are surgery liposuction. It is invasive and painful almost as the regular liposuction procedure.

In the traditional liposuction, the doctor will stick a long cannula tube into your body and suck away the fat cells out of it (or at least try to get as much as he can).

So what is so "smart" about it?

Usually it means that the tube being used by the doctor to pump out the fat cells is equipped on its tip with a small laser device that helps to ease the procedure. During the operation of the suction the laser light helps to soften the fat tissue being treated. in that way there should be less pains during and after the procedure, and there should be more material sucked away from the body.

Therefore it is important not to mix between those two terms: The Smart Lipo is actually a surgery and has nothing to do with the Zerona procedure.

The Zerona is non invasive procedure. Nothing will stick into your body while its operate. You will even wont feel anything while the laser beams will scan your body, penetrate it about 6 cm deep, and do its job there.
